This is a handmade Assamese Traditional Gold-plated Jewellery crafted by the native artisan from Assam. Its base frame is made of silver and thin layer of gold is platted upon it using the age old platting technique. 
These goldsmiths have acquired this profession in heritage since the Ahom age. They used to manufacture pure gold jewellery using this technique. Now a days, a few goldsmiths are there in Jorhat crafting these types of jewellery using age old technique.

Handle carefully while wearing gold-plated jewellery.
Keep in a dry and airy location. Do not touch it with wet hands. Do not rub with hand or fingers.
